The bar disbarred me in 1995 for having done federal bankruptcies in 1993 which were perfectly legal. Read the opinion of the state bar. They only did it after I sued the Bar and the California Supreme court. They retaliated. Incidentally the got this by default. I did not know about the hearing. They could have called me! This is an example of the oppression by the state bar.

I have more briefs to put here. This battle is not finished. Here is the short version. I had a birthday party in May 1991. The police came. (See details in the briefs here: http://www.circuitlawyer.8m.com/1170.html ) They could find no crime to accuse me of - so they accused me of being drunk in public. I was not in public; I was at my office. I was not drunk; I blew 0.0 (zero) on the intoxylizer. For those of you not mathematically inclined, zero is as low as you can go on the breathalyzer.
Had I not been a lawyer in the public eye the district attorney would have rejected the case. Instead the accused me of 3 felonies. Then they dropped all 3 felony charges when they succeeded in getting a grand jury to indict me on 2 felonies and a misdemeanor. The jury found me not guilty on the 2 felonies. The court of appeal found me not guilty on the sole misdemeanor. By that time I had sued the California Supreme Court. They should have recused themselves. Instead they took my misdemeanor case and eventually reversed my victory even though they did not even have the entire transcript. They also did not have a good argument. I had a pathetic appointed lawyer who did worse than nothing; he appeared to do something. I am not finished with this battle, but I am weary.
